Teaches: Quantifying the World, Natural Language Processing

Dr. Robert Slater is a 2001 graduate of Michigan State University with a PhD in physics. He has worked in several fields, including insurance, finance and manufacturing, working on process quality, computer vision and natural language processing. He has filed several patents in the areas of big data, artificial intelligence and the use of blockchain. His current interest is in pushing deep-learning capsule networks and attention mechanisms.
