Founded in 1911, SMU is a nationally ranked private university with seven degree-granting schools. A distinguished center for teaching and research located near the heart of Dallas, SMU offers small classes, leadership opportunities, international study and innovative programs to students from around the world.

DataScience@SMU

DataScience@SMU is the online Master of Science in Data Science program from SMU. Delivered online, this program is designed to train and develop data science professionals to analyze and manage data as well as organize and communicate results. The M.S. in Data Science is an interdisciplinary program, working to develop coursework in computer science, statistics, strategic behavior and data visualization.

DataScience@SMU is designed with working professionals in mind. Live classes are held weekly in a virtual classroom, and class sizes are kept small to facilitate group work and collaborative discussion. All coursework is available 24/7 online or offline via a computer or our mobile app.
